Mission and Values

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and growth in the fields of technology and digital transformation. Guided by principles of integrity, inclusivity, and excellence, FIA is committed to advancing knowledge sharing, fostering partnerships, and driving positive impact within our community and beyond.

Purpose

FIAS seeks to address the evolving needs and challenges of the digital age by:

Facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration among industry stakeholders.

Providing access to resources, expertise, and opportunities for professional development.

Advocating for policies and initiatives that promote innovation, sustainability, and ethical practices.

Serving as a bridge between local and international communities to promote cross-border collaboration and knowledge transfer.

Membership and Chapters

Membership in FIA is open to individuals, organizations, and institutions with an interest in advancing technology and digital innovation. Members will benefit from networking opportunities, educational resources, and exclusive events and initiatives. In addition to establishing a strong presence in Singapore, FIA proposes the creation of overseas member chapters to extend our reach and impact globally. These chapters will serve as hubs for collaboration and knowledge sharing, connecting members across borders and fostering international partnerships.

Chairman

Experienced co founder and angel investor in multiple startups in the renewable energy, artificial intelligence, beauty & personal care industry.

Advisor to several boards.

Mentor startups in Venture Creation in NUS Enterprise and A*Star/NTU Essentials programme. Skilled in Entrepreneurship, Capital Raise,Strategic Planning, Business Development, Brand Management, and Business Strategy. Extensive business development experience in international markets. Master's degree focused in Business Administration and organizational cybernetics.

More than 30 years of volunteer service in MOE as Chairman of the school advisory committee in three schools. Was conferred the Public Star Medal (BBM), for outstanding contributions to education in Singapore by the President of Singapore. Long service Gold Medal award for volunteer services in Ministry of Education. Uplift Befriender volunteer in Ministry of Family & Social Development.

Alvin Lam

Vice Chairman

Alvin Lam Wee Wah is a seasoned technology education leader with over 25 years of experience in business technology and processes. He co-founded Massive Wisdom Group, developing educational leadership platforms in various tech fields, and serves as CISO of CyberForSec Pte Ltd, providing cybersecurity governance. He is also the founding partner and CAIO of AI Vision Fund Pte Ltd, researching Web3 technologies.

Alvin has taught at numerous prestigious institutions and currently lectures at the University of Roehampton, University of West London, and London Metropolitan University. He leads ALG's Frontier Tech Program, overseeing training in AI, Data Science, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Project & Risk Management.

A recognized thought leader in Asia, Alvin specializes in IT Service Management, IT Governance, Business Strategies, Digital Business, and Cloud Computing. He frequently speaks at IT governance and risk optimization events and is recognized by Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance in the training area of AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Fintech.

Alvin's contributions to technology and education continue to inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

Lincoln Teo

Honorary General Secretary

Founder of Intelligence Wise with international experience and participant of Singapore Government’s intergovernmental cooperation projects. Successful execution of multiple initiatives funded by UN ESCAP, World Bank and ADB.

Managed enterprise and consumer data deployment through the establishment of credit bureau institutions under Monetary Authority of Singapore, Bank Negara Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam Central Bank. Brought innovation to the data industry and enabling access to terabytes of data, connecting users to global corporate registries.

Went on to co-found Stone Mattered Holdings Pte Ltd (SMH), a company specialising in ESG and sustainability IOT solutions and supporting renewable energy producers to expand their footprint in ASEAN. SMH was also selected by Enterprise Singapore’s Global Innovation Alliance to participate in the Singapore Forum: Green and Smart Solutions for a Sustainable World where SMH’s capabilities and technology were showcased.

Presently a Board Advisor of Zero13 - the COP28 award winning automated AI and blockchain-driven ‘Network of Networks’ PaaS ecosystem for carbon credits and ESG real-world assets. It is in discussion with the National Climate Change Secretariat to make Singapore its OHQ.
